Superbells® TableTop™ Blue Calibrachoa is covered in blue-purple petunia-like flowers that almost completely hide the green foliage. They bloom from planting to hard frost, so stay nice looking for a long time. Even better, they do not need to be deadheaded to continue to blossom.

TableTop Blue Calibrachoa are heat tolerant. They were originally from Brazil, with a population in a few other places in Latin America. They grew on rocky scree and the edges of cliffs. This small, mounded plant grows best in containers, mixed containers, and hanging baskets. If you plant in a mixed container, choose other plants that are not too vigorous or the plant will get overwhelmed.

Superbells® TableTop Blue Calibrachoa Care

Superbells® TableTop™ Blue Calibrachoa absolutely demands well-drained soil. These are harder to grow in the ground so it’s best to plant them in a container. Fertilize with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer once a week. It is not necessary to deadhead this plant. Let the top of the soil dry out between watering. Superbells TableTop Blue Calibrachoa will grow in sun or part sun.

TableTop Blue Calibrachoa are tender perennials and are not hardy in most of the United States. If the plant gets a little lanky in late July or early August, you can trim it back by no more than 1/3 of the plant. It will grow back quickly with even more blooms.

Superbells® TableTop Blue Calibrachoa Spacing

Superbells® TableTop™ Blue Calibrachoa is considered short at 4-8 inches tall. It does not spread very far, 10-16 inches wide. Since it is vulnerable to being choked out by more vigorous plants, allow 6-10 inches between it and other plants.
