The best role for Superbells Tabletop White calibrachoa is in a container, trailing over the edge to make a perfect stopping point for hummingbirds. A long-blooming summer annual, Superbells Tabletop White calibrachoa is loaded with flowers, so many that you can barely see the leaves.
This variety is a bit more compact – up to 8 inches high with a 16-inch spread – making it a good selection for smaller containers. Superbells Tabletop White calibrachoa is heat tolerant. Its long bloom period frequently carries into fall. Gardeners will see Superbells calibrachoas in garden centers in fall because of their tolerance of cooler temps. Superbells calibrachoa come in 42 colors, including several with double flowers.
Superbells® TableTop White Calibrachoa Care
These plants do not want constantly wet soil, so water when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch. Also, calibracacho benefits from an acidic fertilizer applied according to label directions for annuals.
If Superbells Tabletop White calibrachoa gets too scraggly, snip it back as needed with scissors or sharp pruners. The plant should rebound in a couple of weeks. Always use a high quality potting mix for container planting because it is formulated to promote drainage.
Superbells® TableTop White Calibrachoa Spacing
Use one or two mixed with other summer plants in a 12-inch container. In a hanging basket, use Superbells Tabletop White calibrachoa with another plant that adds some height, such as Lanai verbena or Sky Fire coleus. Calibrachoa can be planted in the ground but soil drainage is key to its success. Its growth habit and horticulture requirements make it a better candidate for a container.
