Supertunia Mini Vista® Pink Star Petunia Care
This award-winning top performer Petunia hybrid has average water and fertilizer needs. Apply a slow-release water-soluble fertilizer at the time of planting. Apply a second dose in mid growing season for plants grown in the ground. Fertilize container gardens every two months for best results. Deadheading is not required for this plant to bloom continuously. If this petunia does become tired looking, use sharp scissors to trim back up to a third of the plant. Add fertilizer after trimming to encourage new, fuller growth.
Petunias are not a great choice for use as a houseplant because of their high light requirements. They are hardy in USDA planting zones 10 and 11.
Supertunia Mini Vista® Pink Star Petunia Spacing
Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart in a garden setting. They may be spaced 10 to 12 inches apart in a container but do not crowd them too closely. They need room to spread out as the season progresses.
