The flower's dark pink veins and eyes add interest too. This plant will thrive in partial to full sun conditions and reward you with nonstop medium to large-sized flowers from spring to your first hard frost in the fall. You’ll only see glimpses of its medium green foliage through its prolific number of blossoms. This short petunia will reach between 6 and 12 inches tall with an 18-to-24-inch spread in a mounded trailing growth pattern.

Petunia Supertunia Mini Vista Pink Star is heat and drought tolerant. It’s a butterfly and hummingbird magnet. Use this plan to create low borders, in mass plantings, or to fill in gaps near the front of your perennial beds. It's pretty flowers make it a stunning choice as a filler and a spiller plant in container gardens including window boxes, hanging baskets, and pots. It will trail up to 24 inches over the side of a container.

Supertunia Mini Vista® Pink Star Petunia Care

This award-winning top performer Petunia hybrid has average water and fertilizer needs. Apply a slow-release water-soluble fertilizer at the time of planting. Apply a second dose in mid growing season for plants grown in the ground. Fertilize container gardens every two months for best results. Deadheading is not required for this plant to bloom continuously. If this petunia does become tired looking, use sharp scissors to trim back up to a third of the plant. Add fertilizer after trimming to encourage new, fuller growth.

Petunias are not a great choice for use as a houseplant because of their high light requirements. They are hardy in USDA planting zones 10 and 11.

Supertunia Mini Vista® Pink Star Petunia Spacing

Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart in a garden setting. They may be spaced 10 to 12 inches apart in a container but do not crowd them too closely. They need room to spread out as the season progresses.

They are absolutely gorgeous and arrived well packed with all the plants healthy. I transplanted them to planters in my garden and they thrived all summer with minimal care!
