- Juicy purple flowers attract butterflies & hummingbirds!
A great reminder for why Petunias are beloved by gardeners around the world, Supertunia Mini Vista® Sangria are dependable, easy-going plants that look great practically anywhere. The juicy purple flowers bloom continuously and abundantly all season long. Butterflies and hummingbirds love these bright flowers, and flock to gardens or containers where they make an appearance. Supertunia Mini Vista® Sangria Petunia is vigorous, drought-tolerant, heat-tolerant, long blooming, and award winning.
Supertunia Mini Vista® Sangria Petunia has a mounding and trailing growth habit that doubles as a “filler” and “spiller” in combination plantings. They cascade over the edges of containers, soften the borders of sidewalks and garden beds, and brighten sunny spaces with vibrant, consistent color. You simply can’t go wrong with these Supertunias, no matter where you live!
Supertunia Mini Vista® Sangria Petunia Care
There’s not much you have to do to keep Supertunias happy! Water them when the top inch of soil is dry, and plant them with continuous-release fertilizer to support their vigorous growth. Applying additional fertilizer a couple of times throughout the season will encourage even more growth and bloom.
If you have a long season, you may need to trim them to keep their growth full and avoid an open appearance at the end of the season. However, deadheading isn’t necessary to keep them blooming all season long.
Supertunia Mini Vista® Sangria Petunia Spacing
Give your Supertunia Mini Vista® Sangria Petunia space that will accommodate its vigorous growth. It can trail and spread up to 24”. 12-18” of space between plants will be enough for these plants in the ground. They can be planted closer together in containers, with 8-12” between.
