If you usually pass over white flowers in favor of brighter colors, Supertunia Mini Vista White Petunia will change your mind. The award-winning plant fills with super-white flowers all growing season. White flowers are underrated by gardeners, but the striking contrast of these big white petunia blooms can make a container, garden edge, border or any area of the landscape pop. Plant them as fillers in containers with deep blue, maroon, or purple flowers for a stunning effect.

This pretty petunia grows to a foot high or less and trails up to 24 inches, which makes it a great plant in pots, hanging baskets, window boxes or as a mass planting of white. The easy-care plants produce blooms from the time they’re planted in spring until fall, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds all summer. The blooms last long and just keep coming with no need to prune or deadhead.

Supertunia Mini Vista® White Petunia Care

Plant Supertunia Mini Vista White Petunia in full or partial sun. The flowers can take some heat and drought, so there is no need to worry or check the plant constantly. Faded flowers drop off on their own and make room for new blooms. If the plant looks leggy or tired from all that blooming, you can trim it all around, taking off no more than one-third of the plant. But it’s not necessary to keep blooms coming.

Petunias need average water and fertilizer. Add a slow-release balanced fertilizer when planting the flowers in beds, and again in mid-summer. Fertilize container-grown Supertunias every couple of months for peak performance.

Supertunia Mini Vista® White Petunia Spacing

Space your petunias at least 12 inches apart, although they can grow more closely as container fillers or mass plantings. The petunias quickly develop new flower branches and spread to a mounded plant with pretty trailing stems.
