- Height 6-12 Inches
- Width 18-24 Inches
- Use as a spiller when using in containers
When you want to go all out, here’s a gorgeous double-flowered, ruffled, bi-color petunia with all kinds of veining. Oh, and it’s about five shades of PURPLE. Supertunia Priscilla Petunia needs no accompaniment; she is a container combo unto herself. This four-time award winner will bring this bloom all summer, without needing any pruning. Hummingbirds and butterflies will dance around her too, enjoying the nectar in those purple-mauve-lilac trumpets.
Priscilla Petunia will be an undemanding diva in your hanging baskets, window boxes, and patio containers, and can line your garden path with all-summer color in beds and borders too as an edging or groundcover. Priscilla Petunia grows about 12-24 inches wide, and only six to 12 inches tall. In a hanging container, she can trail up to 30 inches.
Supertunia® Priscilla® Petunia Care
Petunias grow most exuberantly in full sun, in average to fertile soil, with good drainage. They can take summer heat and can dry out somewhat between waterings. They prefer consistent fertilizer to bloom their best. Typically, planted in the landscape, a one-time application of slow-release fertilizer should be fine. If you have a longer growing season, another application can be done mid-season. For containers, apply slow-release fertilizer at planting, and then about every two months, or use water soluble fertilizer regularly starting two months after planting.
Pruning will refresh any tired or floppy stems, and can be done at any time. Water well, trim back, apply liquid fertilizer if using, and just watch the new flowers and stems emerge.
Supertunia® Priscilla® Petunia Spacing
Depending on the desired fullness, you can choose to space your Supertunia Priscilla Petunia from 12 to 24 inches apart.
