Supertunia Tiara® Blue Petunia (Petunia hybrid 'INPETTIABL') offers striking deep violet-blue petals paired with a soft white center, creating a mesmerizing effect in any sunny garden or container. The stems trail up to 36 inches and deliver a lush, draping display of color from spring through frost. The slightly mounded form serves as an ideal filler or spiller in mixed planters, while the bold flower hue draws attention. Its nonstop blooms and easy upkeep make it a go-to choice for seasoned gardeners and beginners alike.

Supertunia Tiara® Blue thrives in hot, dry conditions with minimal fuss, thanks to its drought tolerance and self-cleaning blooms. Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds often stop by, adding motion and life to your space. Plant it near the front of landscape beds for a neat yet impactful border, or allow the trailing stems to cascade from hanging baskets and window boxes. Developed via cutting-edge breeding, Supertunia Tiara® Blue Petunia reliably delivers a splash of dynamic color all season long.

Supertunia Tiara® Blue Petunia Care

Provide moderately fertile, well-draining soil and six or more hours of direct sun each day. A light, consistent watering schedule helps maintain steady blooms without over-saturating the roots. Mix a controlled-release fertilizer into the soil at planting time; then follow up with regular feeding (weekly or bi-weekly) using a water-soluble formula for maximum performance.

Use sharp shears if the plant appears leggy, and remove any weak or broken stems to promote a healthier shape. Trimming spent stems by about 20% once or twice a season can encourage new branching and fresh growth. If an allover trim is performed, pair it with a dose of liquid plant food to jumpstart rejuvenation. In containers, keep an eye on moisture levels during peak summer heat; a thorough soak whenever the top inch of soil dries works best. Winter care is typically unnecessary for this annual in cooler regions, though some gardeners in zones 10 and 11 may overwinter it by transferring pots to a protected spot.

Supertunia Tiara® Blue Petunia Spacing

Position individual plants 12 to 24 inches apart for effective ground coverage or tight groupings in flowerbeds. When using containers, opt for a pot about 12 inches wide or more to offer ample room for root growth and trailing foliage.
