Zone 8: Thai Basil is Healthy

Posted by Katherine N. on May 08, 2023

The Thai basil I ordered was very healthy when it arrived, and I'd say it was approximately 7-12 inches in height. It had a lot of leaves and stems too. It was packaged very safely and securely (in a tall box with an additional plastic bag/wrap around the pot) and came in a large pot with plenty of soil. The unopened package was around 8-9 pounds. It is still healthy and growing, and the signature scent of Thai basil was very strong when it arrived (and still is as well), which is great. It is adjusting well after being placed into a different pot.
