Pastel peach, pink, and lemon tones melt together on every petal, giving The Champion™ Sunblush Rose a sunrise glow that pops in borders, entry beds, and patio pots. Expect a steady parade of blooms from late spring well into the warm months, each flower carrying a bright, elegant fragrance that draws compliments—and pollinators—without demanding fussy care.

The Champion™ Sunblush Rose Care

Plant in full sun (6+ hours) where air circulates freely. Set in fertile, well-drained soil amended with compost; aim for slightly acidic to neutral pH. Water deeply at the base to keep soil evenly moist—avoid wetting leaves. Mulch 2–3 inches to hold moisture and keep roots cool, pulling mulch back a few inches from the canes.

Feed roses in early spring and again after the first flush using a rose or balanced slow-release fertilizer. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering; prune in late winter/early spring to remove weak or crossing stems and shape a sturdy framework.

Bred for strong disease resistance; good spacing, morning sun, and dry foliage at night further discourage mildew and black spot. (Winter cold protection may be helpful in the coldest zones.)

The Champion™ Sunblush Rose Spacing

In beds or hedging, space plants 3–4 feet apart on center for a full, flowering line. For mixed borders, allow 30–36 inches from neighboring shrubs or hardscape so the rounded habit and blooms are easy to admire and maintain.

In containers, choose a pot 16–20"+ in diameter with excellent drainage; place planters 2–3 feet apart for airflow and easy deadheading.

Why Grow The Champion™ Sunblush Rose?

  • Radiant pastel blooms with a cheerful, garden-filling fragrance

  • Long flowering window from late spring through summer

  • Strong disease tolerance and straightforward maintenance

  • Equally at home in borders, accents, and patio containers

  • Pollinator-friendly flowers that keep color coming

A luminous, sweet-scented workhorse that rewards simple care with months of color—The Champion™ Sunblush Rose brings sunrise tones and repeat bloom wherever you plant it.
