Which TRIO Stone Size Should You Choose?

• TRIO Stone 40: Best for fuller garden displays, larger climbing plants, ornamental grasses, and more substantial privacy screens. Provides over twice the growing volume per liner and measures approximately 51 inches long.

Three Separate Self-Watering Planting Liners

Unlike a traditional trough with one continuous soil bed, TRIO Stone includes three independent removable square liners. Each has its own growing space, water reservoir, and water level indicator. You can group plants with different watering needs, change seasonal arrangements individually, or remove one liner for maintenance without disturbing the others.

The liners feature sturdy carrying handles for convenient planting and repotting. TRIO 30 liners are also compatible with select CUBICO 30 planters, while TRIO 40 liners fit select CUBE 40 and CUBICO 40 models, including CUBICO Alto.

How the Self-Watering System Works

Each of TRIO Stone's three liners includes an independent LECHUZA self-watering system, allowing you to manage each planting section separately.

1. Prepare the Liners: Assemble the included irrigation components and add the LECHUZA-PON drainage substrate according to the instructions.
2. Add Your Plants: Fill the liners with suitable growing medium and plant your chosen flowers, herbs, vegetables, or foliage.
3. Establish the Roots: Water from above during the initial 2–3 weeks, checking moisture as the roots establish.
4. Begin Reservoir Watering: Once the plants are established, fill the reservoirs according to LECHUZA's instructions.
5. Monitor Each Section: Check each water level indicator and allow a suitable dry phase before refilling based on the plants' needs.

Outdoor Drainage: Remove the drainage screws for outdoor use so excess rainwater can escape. Monitor the growing medium during hot, windy, or rainy weather, even when using the self-watering system.
