- 14-4-5 Liquid Fertilizer
- 7.05% Slow-Release Nitrogen
- Includes Chelated Iron, Manganese, & Zinc
- Root Zone Feeding
- 2.5 Gallon Jug
Arborplex 14-4-5 Tree and Ornamental Fertilizer is a liquid feed that offers steady nutrition to trees and shrubs. About half of its nitrogen (7.05%) is slow release from a urea-triazone solution, which helps extend feeding and maintain more consistent growth. Phosphorus is included to support root development, and potassium is supplied as potassium hydroxide for high solubility and a low salt index. We recommend ArborPlex for urban and managed landscapes where soils are often depleted, rooting space is limited, and stress tolerance is just as important as growth.
This product is flexible and can be applied as a soil drench, root zone injection, or foliar feeding for in-season correction of deficiencies. The micronutrients are fully chelated, which helps with availability and can improve leaf color when minor element deficiencies show up. It’s a good fit for routine maintenance programs as well as post-transplant support of both root and shoot growth.

FAQs
What makes ArborPlex “extended feeding”?
It contains 7.05% slow-release nitrogen from a urea-triazone solution, which supplies nutrition more steadily than quick-release nitrogen sources.
How to use ArborPlex 14-4-5 as a root zone treatment?
Dilute 1.25 gallons (160 oz) per 100 gallons of water, then apply via root injection into the feeder-root zone. Inject 4–8 inches deep, beginning 1–3 feet from the trunk, working outward in a grid pattern to within about 2 feet of the drip line.
Can I use it as a foliar spray?
Yes. Mix 2–3 quarts per 100 gallons of water and spray foliage until it begins to drip. Do not foliar feed during drought or when air temperature exceeds 85°F.
What problems is it designed to address?
Nutrient deficiencies, loss of vigor, adverse growing conditions, and depleted soils, commonly seen with urban trees.
What guarantee applies?
It’s covered by A.M. Leonard’s 30-Day Down to Earth Guarantee.
