Just make sure that the site is well-draining and it stays more on the dry side than constantly wet. Once blooms are spent, deadheading will help to keep blooms prolific. No fertilizer is needed for average soil.
These sunny perennials are hardy in zones 3 to 10. Either trim dead growth back in late fall or just wait till Spring. Cleaning up the garden in the Fall is not a recommended practice like it once was.
