Plant in well-drained soil and water regularly until established. Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer spring and summer. Avoid over watering and fertilizing to keep this vigorous grower in-bounds. Can be pruned any time. When used as a substitute for a grass lawn, should be mowed once a year in the spring to maintain.
