Autumn Princess™ Encore® Azalea (Azalea x ‘Roblea’ PP#12142) is a compact, evergreen shrub that produces beautiful semi-double pink flowers from spring through fall. Its long blooming season makes it a standout in any landscape, while the foliage adds year-round interest—turning a rich burgundy in fall and winter. This versatile azalea is perfect for use as a specimen plant, in containers, or as part of a foundation planting, adding vibrant color and texture across multiple seasons.
Autumn Princess Encore Azalea Care
Plant azaleas high in the soil to encourage good drainage, as they prefer evenly moist but well-drained conditions. They thrive in acidic soil, which can be amended with organic matter or chelated iron if necessary. Keep the soil consistently moist until the plant is established. Fertilize in late winter or early spring with a slow-release fertilizer designed for acid-loving plants to support new growth and abundant blooms. Prune only to shape after the first flush of flowers in spring to preserve future blooms. Mulching around the base helps retain soil moisture and protect the roots.
Autumn Princess Encore Azalea Growth & Spacing
This Encore Azalea grows to about 3 feet tall and wide, making it ideal for small gardens or tight spaces.
