Autumn Princess™ Encore® Azalea, Azalea x ‘Roblea’ PP#12142- Beautiful semi-double pink flowers on this broadleaf evergreen, compact shrub. Blooms spring through fall. Foliage turns a deep burgundy in the fall and winter. Ideal container plant, specimen and foundation shrub.
Autumn Princess™ Encore® Azalea Care
Plant high to promote good drainage. Azaleas perform best in acidic soil, which can be amended with chelated iron if necessary. Don’t allow the soil to become dry until established. Prune only to shape after the first bloom period in spring. Fertilize in late winter or early spring to give the upcoming blooms a boost.
Autumn Princess™ Encore® Azalea Spacing
Plant 3 feet apart, center to center, when establishing a hedge. Plant 4.5 to 5 feet apart in the shrub border or as foundation plantings.
