The Autumn Sundance™ Encore® Azalea, Azalea x ‘Roblef’ PP#16184, has fuchsia-pink, single, 3-inch blooms beginning in spring and continuing into fall. Dark-green foliage turns reddish in winter. Works well in containers, as an accent or as foundation plantings. This broadleaf evergreen also makes a superior hedge, providing four seasons of color.
Autumn Sundance™ Encore® Azalea Care
Plant high to promote good drainage. Azaleas perform best in acidic soil, which can be amended with chelated iron if necessary. Don’t allow the soil to become dry until established. Prune only to shape after the first bloom period in spring. Fertilize in late winter or early spring to give the upcoming blooms a boost.

When establishing a hedge, plant 3.5 to 4 feet apart, center to center. Plant 5 to 6 feet apart, center to center, in the shrub border or as foundation plantings.
