The foliage appears in a mounded habit with teardrop shaped leaves. The flower spikes shoot up above the foliage and are a violet purple. Flowering season for the Blue Boa Hummingbird Mint is generous, lasting from late spring to early fall. The garden height reaches twenty-four inches tall to fourteen to eighteen inches wide.
