Blue Heaven Bluestem Grass is an award winning ornamental grass. What is special about this grass is the color, as suggested by its name. Atop this perennial grass is a blue hue with purple highlights. Even better, the color transitions with season and becomes copper in the fall. This grass is strong in nature, able to withstand elements such as rain and wind.
This grass is deer resistant, and easy to grow. It’s versatile, capable of adding rustic, vertical texture and color to containers, borders, and along any fencing. This low maintenance perennial adds value to the landscape as it provides subtle color and dimension. It also contributes to a habitat for wildlife, and the seed heads provide food for birds in the fall.

This perennial is hardy in zones three through eight. This grass prefers full sun. It’s generally low maintenance in nature, and grows very quickly. In addition, this plant is drought tolerant once established.
