The bi-colored blooms of the Cajun C’est Bon Hibiscus are perfect for adding a tropical feel to your garden. It produces frilled pink petals with white edges that encompass its yellow centers and blooms all summer long. Growing to around 2 to 3 feet with an upright habit, this hibiscus is perfect for squeezing into a gap or large container.

Loved by pollinators and hummingbirds, the Cajun C’est Bon Hibiscus is a great plant to attract more wildlife into your garden. Being such an eye-catching ‘thriller’ plant, this hibiscus will certainly be a focal point wherever you grow it. Being tender, it is often grown as an annual; however, it can also be cared for as a perennial in zones 9 to 11.

Cajun C’est Bon Hibiscus Care

The Cajun C’est Bon Hibiscus prefers to be grown in full sun, but it can also tolerate some light shade. A free-draining soil is required because if there is one thing this hibiscus dislikes, it is sitting in water-logged soil. Water this hibiscus when the top few inches of soil dry out, especially in the first year after planting. To keep the flowers coming, a liquid feed diluted to half strength can be applied every 2 to 4 weeks during the summer months.

The Cajun C’est Bon Hibiscus can be grown as a perennial in only the warmest parts of the country; elsewhere it is treated as an annual. Alternatively, you can try bringing the plant indoors before the first frost to overwinter, before planting out again the following year.

Cajun C’est Bon Hibiscus Spacing

The Cajun C’est Bon Hibiscus reaches a maximum size of 3 feet tall and wide. However, it can grow taller in the South. When grown in a container, select a large planter size, at least 20 inches in diameter, and plant one hibiscus per planter.
