Lush double flowers make the Cherish Rose a lovely addition to a space. Dark pink buds open to reveal flowers in a delicate salmon hue. Each flower features up to 25 petals for a dense and full bloom. The Rosa 'Cherish' blooms from spring through fall, providing dependable color. Glossy dark green foliage provides contrast against the light pink flowers.

Feature the fragrant flowers in arrangements or grow the Cherish Rose in a container to enjoy the blooms up close on a deck or balcony. Pollinators also enjoy the beautiful flowers and often frequent them. Create a hedge to block out a fence or define areas of a backyard. Grow the Cherish Rose in zones 6 through 10.

Cherish Rose Care

Select a planting location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. The Cherish Rose needs full sun to thrive. Use slightly acidic soil with high organic content. The soil should be moist and allow drainage. Water when the top layer of the soil is dry. Increase water during a dry spell to keep the shrub blooming. Apply a fertilizer intended for roses or an acidic plant food every few weeks during the growing season.

The Cherish Rose is a Floribunda variety, so prune in late winter just before new growth appears. This plant does not generally need winter protection, but may benefit from being wrapped in landscape fabric when planted in an area prone to high wind and chilly temperatures.

Cherish Rose Spacing

At maturity, the Cherish Rose is 5 to 8 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide. Space plants 2 to 3 feet apart in a bed or landscape, or grow one shrub in an 18-inch-wide container.
