Cherrytini Floribunda Rose is a gorgeous perpetual summer bloomer. This rose is covered in masses of double, rich, velvety, deep cherry-red blossoms that are set off nicely by its contrasting deep-green, glossy foliage. Its free-flowering nature puts on a magnificent summer show all season long. Cherrytini has a mild, lovely fragrance and is a great addition to your pollinator garden.
Cherrytini Floribunda Rose is a low-maintenance variety with exceptional disease resistance; it continually looks great even during the hottest summer days. Cherrytini grows between 3-4 feet in height with an upright habit. Cherrytini Floribunda Rose thrives in USDA hardiness zones 5-9. Grow this beauty in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight for spectacular continual blooming.
Cherrytini Floribunda Rose Care
Cherrytini Floribunda rose thrives in a full-sun location and should be planted in rich, well-draining soil. Locate an area that gets at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. Water the roots regularly until the plant is fully established, particularly in the hot, dry summer months. Direct the water towards the soil, water in the early morning, and avoid splashing water on your rose leaves to prevent mildew. Cherrytini can be fed once a month with a bloom-boosting fertilizer specifically formulated for roses. Pruning can be done to maintain the overall shape or to remove less productive canes in early spring. Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms, and prune back to where 5 leaflets are on the stem to encourage fuller growth.
Cherrytini can also be planted in containers large enough to allow plenty of room for the roots to develop fully. If planting in a container, make sure it has proper drainage holes. Use outdoor potting soil that is well amended with organic matter such as garden compost for extra nutrients.
Cherrytini Floribunda Rose Spacing
Cherrytini Floribunda Rose has many uses in the landscape. It is perfect as a single, showy specimen within a bed of perennials or when grouped together to form a small, flowering hedge. Allow at least 2 feet of spacing in between each plant or from other structures to allow for adequate airflow.
