Growing Zones
The scented red flowers of the Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose are bound to make your heart swoon. A dwarf rose, Cinnamon Hearts™ grows to no more than 3 feet tall, making it ideal for a variety of garden uses. What’s more, Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose is a continuous bloomer and will reflower from spring until fall.
The compact form of the Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose makes it suitable for either a border or a large container, and thanks to its great disease resistance, it typically grows trouble-free. It develops lush green foliage, which provides a contrasting backdrop for its stunning double red blooms.
Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose Care
For the best display of flowers all season long, you will want to plant Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose in full sun. When it comes to the soil, this rose prefers a fertile, moist, but well drained substrate. Water regularly until established and during dry spells, aiming to keep the soil moist, but not saturated. A rose-specific fertilizer can be applied as directed to maintain health and encourage more blooms.
Regular deadheading will help keep a tidy appearance and encourage new blooms. Prune when dormant in winter, and mulch in spring to prevent moisture loss.
Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose Spacing
When mature, the Cinnamon Hearts™ Rose can grow to 2 to 3 feet tall and wide. When grown in a group for maximum impact, space plants 2 to 3 feet apart.
