Growing Zones
One of the most stunning Yuccas out there. It has stunning variegated leaves and their edges change colors throughout the seasons. In midsummer, cream colored bells appear on tall stems. The Color Guard Yucca is a low maintenance plant that gives your yard a sophisticated look.
The Color Guard Yucca has a mounded growing habit similar to an agave plant. Its leaves are a creamy yellow with green edges in the spring and summer. The centers of this North American native take on a rose color in the fall. In early and midsummer tall stalks of up to four feet sprout from the center. These stalks produce cream colored bell blooms that dangle. The mature height for this plant is two to three feet with a spread of two to three feet. Uses include border planting, landscape planting, mass planting and as a focal point.

The Color Guard Yucca has average to low water needs. Be sure not to over water. Compost is recommended when planting. No pruning is needed for this plant. Deadheading is not required.
Color Guard Yucca Spacing
