The Dalaya® Pink+White Dahlia is an early bloomer, so the bicolor flowers will be among the first to welcome spring. Rows of petals overlap to create a full and dense flower. The pink blooms are a delicate light pink near the center but fade to a darker shade of dusty rose near the ends, giving an ombre-like appearance. Enjoy the blooms from spring through the first frost. Dark green foliage is glossy for a polished look and provides a nice contrast to the showy flowers.

The upright, mounded growth habit has a well-branched form. This long-blooming annual works well in borders, mixed beds, and containers. Trim the showy flowers to include in vases and arrangements. The Dalaya® Pink+White Dahlia is a fast grower that will quickly fill in a space. Butterflies also love the flowers and often visit.

Dalaya® Pink+White Dahlia Care

Choose a spot with full to partial sun and moist, well-drained soil, high in organic content. Plants in full sun often set more flowers, so keep that in mind when selecting a location. Water plants weekly or when the top layer of the soil is dry. Fertilize every two weeks during the growing season to support continued growth and promote the bloom cycle.

Deadhead Dahlias to maintain a neat appearance and to encourage more blooms. Removing faded flowers will direct energy away from seed formation into new flowers.

Dalaya® Pink+White Dahlia Spacing

The Dalaya® Pink+White Dahlia stands 12 to 16 inches tall and 12 to 14 inches across. Create a dense planting by spacing Dahlias 12 to 14 inches apart. Grow one to two plants in a 12-inch container.
