Grow this dahlia in areas with direct sunlight, but avoid blaring hot west or south exposure, which may cause the flowers to fade. Dahlias do well with full eastern exposure. It has average water needs, so water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Don’t over water because it may cause the plant to rot.
