Native to North America, this long living perennial will give you seasons of enjoyment! It has a tight concentration of green foliage that first appears bronze in the spring. Above yellow buds reveal a vanilla cream-colored flower. During the fall the seedpods deepen in color to a shadowy charcoal. The Decadence Vanilla Cream False Indigo will attract pollinators, giving your garden or landscape life. Its low maintenance, drought tolerance, and deer resistance makes it a superb choice for any gardener!

Foliage for this baptisia emerges bronze before turning green and producing yellow buds. Those yellow buds open to a creamy vanilla colored flower in late spring to early summer. It will grow to be thirty to thirty-six inches tall with a spread of thirty-six to forty-two inches. This baptisia will attract butterflies and is resistant to deer. It is well served as a backdrop plant, border plant, perfect for bouquets, or as a focal point in any yard. With its compact size it is also great for suburban yards.
