When it comes to the soil, this heuchera favors a rich and fertile soil that is well drained and neutral or acidic. Coral bells are not hungry plants and an annual mulch of garden compost in spring is generally more than enough supplemental nutrition. However, those grown in containers can benefit from a liquid feed being given every 2 to 4 weeks to replace lost nutrients. 

Coral Bells require minimal pruning. In spring and fall, you can remove any tatty-looking leaves at the base of the stem. Deadheading spent blooms may help encourage further flowers to emerge. As a clump-forming plant, the Dressed Up™ Ball Gown Coral Bells can be divided every 2 to 3 years.
