Bright, single yellow blooms with open centers make Easy Bee-zy™ Knock Out® Rose a nonstop pollinator magnet from spring to frost. Rosa ‘SRPylwko’ matures to about 3–4 feet tall and 3 feet wide, forming a naturally rounded shrub that looks full without constant shaping. Those simple, open flowers act like landing pads for bees and butterflies, which is the big advantage over many fuller, harder-to-access roses. A light citrus scent sits close to the blooms and smells especially nice near a path.
This Knock Out® stays cleaner than many yellow roses thanks to disease-resistant foliage that holds its gloss through the season. It reblooms fast after each flush, so the plant rarely looks “between” flowers. Use it in repeating groups for a low, sunny hedge, or tuck it into a mixed border where it can brighten darker foliage. It’s also a strong choice for foundation beds because the habit stays tidy. In containers, it provides a long season of color without the fussy grooming some roses demand.
Easy Bee-zy™ Knock Out® Rose Care
Grow Easy Bee-zy™ in full sun for best flowering, with at least 6 hours of direct light daily. Plant into well-drained soil and set the root ball so the top sits level with the surrounding grade, then firm soil gently to remove air pockets. Water at the base deeply during establishment, then irrigate when the top few inches of soil feel dry, avoiding frequent light sprinkling. Feed in early spring with an organic or balanced rose fertilizer, then follow with a second feeding after the first heavy bloom to keep growth strong.
In late winter, prune to shape and reduce height by about one-third, removing any damaged wood first. Thin one or two older stems at the base every few years to keep the shrub vigorous. Deadheading isn’t required, but trimming spent clusters can speed up the next wave of blooms. Add a layer of mulch before winter in colder areas to protect roots and stabilize soil temperatures.
Easy Bee-zy™ Knock Out® Rose Spacing
Space plants about 3 feet apart to allow the rounded habit to fill in without crowding. Choose a container at least 18–20 inches wide if you’re growing it in a pot, and make sure it has excellent drainage. Try pairing it with blue fescue for crisp texture, tuck in white alyssum as a soft edge, or add purple coneflower nearby for a longer-season pollinator mix.
