The Easy Elegance® Oscar Peterson™ Rose is just that - easy and elegant. Semi-double flowers are a soft yellow shade before settling into bright white. The petals have a gentle ruffle and open widely to reveal yellow stamens. The dark green foliage has a pronounced midrib and serrated edges. Flowers continue to bloom from early summer through fall for an all-season display.

An upright growth habit with branching stems creates a full shrub. Use this beauty to create a flowering hedge or a lovely and consistent burst of color in a mixed bed or a mass planting. Plant in a busy area to enjoy the fragrant blooms or trim some flowers for use in arrangements. This hardy rose grows as a perennial in USDA zones 3 through 8.

This shrub needs full sun, so plant in an area that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight. Rich, moist, but well-drained soil is ideal. New plants need consistent and deep watering. Established plants are not as thirsty, but water when the top few inches of the soil dries out to ensure continued blooming. Surround the plant with a layer of organic mulch to cut down on weeds and prevent the ground from drying out as quickly.
