Easy Elegance® Pinktopia Rose is the perfect solution for all you gardeners who are hesitant to grow roses. Pinktopia is a no brainer! It is smothered in masses of semi-double pink roses from late spring until first frost in early fall. The medium pink flowers are fragrant and excellent for cut flowers. The leaves are dark green and dense, providing an ideal backdrop to showcase the blooms. New foliage emerges bright red. This shrub rose has a compact form and is carefree to maintain.
This rose is upright and bushy, with foliage that is full and tidy. It is deciduous and will die back over the winter. This variety is highly disease resistant and heat tolerant. It grows on its own roots and is resistant to pests. Group them together for an eye-catching hedge or a low-maintenance cut-flower bed. Pinktopia can also make beautiful container specimens.
Easy Elegance® Pinktopia Rose Care
This rose grows best in full sun, with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. It requires consistent moisture, but is not particular about soil texture or pH. Water plants regularly in the summer, especially during longer dry spells. Apply a thick layer of organic compost to keep the roots cool and protected over the winter.
Cut back the stems by one-third in late winter. Cuts should be made on the diagonal above a growth node. Deadhead to promote reblooming.
Easy Elegance® Pinktopia Rose Spacing
To create a tight hedge, space Pinktopia approximately 2 feet apart between plant centers. For growing in a container, select a container at least 20 inches in diameter with drainage holes.
