The Eden Climber® Climbing Rose produces huge pink and cream blooms up to 4 inches across on a vigorous climbing habit. Not only are the repeat flowering blooms stunning, but they have a wonderful scent as well. Unsurprisingly, this spectacular climber is well known and widely grown. The Eden Climber® Climbing Rose is reliable and tough and has been bred with increased disease resistance.
This stunning rose is a vigorous climber and can grow to 8-12 feet high by 4-6 feet wide, which makes it ideal for covering a wall, fence or trellis. The cup-shaped flowers are moderately scented and if regularly deadheaded will keep blooming from late spring until late summer. If grown in full sun, it has great disease resistance. An award-winning rose that is included in the Rose Hall of Fame.
Eden Climber® Climbing Rose Care
This climbing rose will tolerate any soil pH and thrives when it is planted in rich, fertile, well-drained soil. To keep this plant healthy and to maximize its flowering potential, it should be grown in full sun. After planting, regular watering is required every few days until it has established; thereafter, water about once a week to keep the soil moist. To get the best from Eden Climber®, a specific rose fertilizer can be applied during the growing season as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
To keep this rose blooming all summer long, regular deadheading is required. To prune this rose, remove any dead or diseased material and shorten any side shoots to 2-3 buds, making a cut just above a bud. Any pruning is best carried out in late winter or early spring when the new buds are beginning to form.
Eden Climber® Climbing Rose Spacing
This vigorous climber needs room to grow. It is best planted where it can reach its potential 8-12 feet high and 4-6 feet wide with good air circulation around it.
