The large double blooms of the Eden Climber® White Rose continue to dazzle throughout spring and summer. Rosa Eden Climber® White boasts lush, full flowers that first open in late spring and continue to bloom through late summer without deadheading. This bush is a vigorous grower that easily climbs, engulfing a trellis or support. The glossy green foliage fills in the plant, providing a nice backdrop for the beautiful blooms.
This shrub is a natural climber and needs an arbor or trellis for support. Plant the Eden Climber® White Rose along a fence or near a shed, and let the reaching stems climb. Create a privacy screen and trim the flowers to use in arrangements. The Eden rose is disease resistant, allowing for easy maintenance and a greater chance of a prolific blooming season. Grow this rose in zones 5 through 10.
Eden Climber® White Rose Care
Plant in full sun, in rich soil that is moist and well drained. New plants need consistent water for the first growing season, while plants that have settled in only need water during a dry spell. Fertilizer to encourage prolific blooms and support new growth.
Deadheading is not mandatory, but you can remove spent flowers to maintain a tidy appearance. Prune in late winter or early spring to remove old or dead growth. Trim back canes to encourage new, full growth.
Eden Climber® White Rose Spacing
The Eden Climber® White Rose reaches 10 to 12 feet tall and 6 feet wide. While this cultivar is disease resistant, space shrubs 6 feet apart so air can flow around the leaves.
