The Endless Summer Blushing Bride Hydrangea, hydrangea macrophylla Blushing Bride, is a compact hydrangea that has pure white blooms in early spring. The flowers eventually turn to blush pink or Carolina blue depending on the pH of the soil, and last until late fall. Don’t forget that Endless Summer hydrangeas bloom both on new and old wood, which sets these shrubs apart from other hydrangeas! The leaves are thick and dark green, and have the traditional serrated edges that most macrophylla have. This plants creates perfect flowers for cut arrangements for centerpieces or even wedding bouquets! And because these shrubs are reblooming you can enjoy the blooms from late spring to late fall! These elegant flowers are sure to drawn the neighbor's attention!
Endless Summer Blushing Bride Hydrangea Care
Plant these shrubs in a protected area with partial shade, meaning the space gets between 2 and 4 hours of sunlight each day. You should have nutrient rich soil that is moist but well drained. Be sure not to plant in an area that stays wet all the time, as the plants will get root rot. But hydrangeas do need a lot of water and moist soil to perform their best.
