Deep green foliage holds these colorful blooms. The Flowers themselves are a bright yellow with violet edges and they sure do pop! With the Etain Violet you get two flowering periods. The first one begins in the spring and lasts through early summer. During late summer until early fall, another round light blooms will appear. The Etain Violet reaches a height of six to eight inches with a spread of ten to twelve inches. This plant looks wonderful as a border plant, focal point, edging, or in containers. Plant in masses for an added wow factor.
Etain Violet Care
Plant in part sun to part shade to ensure best results. The Etain Violet get should get no more than four hours of sun each day. Soil should be cool and fertile. The Etain Violet requires soil to be well-drained and evenly moist. Add mulch to provide winter protection and to ensure that the soil remains cool and moist. Shear when bloom season begins to end and remove any dead foliage in the spring. Fertilize yearly in the spring with a control release fertilizer. Be sure to plant away from full sun in the south.
Etain Violet Spacing
Proper spacing is imperative to ensure the health and longevity of your plant. The Etain Violet should be spaced ten to twelve inches, center on center.
