Looking to add an early bloomer to your spring garden? The Ever White Agapanthus is the one you’ve been searching for. It blooms very early in the spring and produces clumps of white blooms on tall stems. This is a tough plant that is tolerant to drought. It is a rebloomer that is easy to care for.
The Ever White Agapanthus is a perennial with green grass like foliage. Sprouting up from its foliage is stems that produce the white clump of blooms on top. Blooms begin to appear in the spring and this one continuously produces blooms through summer. It brings birds and pollinators and is resistant to pests. Plant for its cut flowers, as a border plant, as a container plant, it looks wonderful as a focal point in landscapes or gardens and will thrive when mass planted.
Ever White Agapanthus Care
Care for your Ever White Agapanthus starts by planting in full sun to part shade. It needs at least four hours of sun per day. Soil needs to be well drained and moist. It is tolerant to varying Ph levels and most soils. This one is a moderate feeder and a slow release fertilizer should be applied in the spring. Pruning is not necessary or recommended. It is a perennial and will come back year after year without special treatment.
Ever White Agapanthus Spacing
When planting your Ever White Agapanthus spacing should be twelve to eighteen inches, center on center. When grown in a container, a small pot will suffice for 1 plant. When planting multiple agapanthus in the same planter, a larger size at least 20 inches wide is recommended.
