When looking for a quality, stunning ground cover…look no farther than Eye Candy Moss Phlox. True to its name, this perennial phlox is truly an eye catcher. With a deep purple ring around the center, and a light lavender outer color, this creeping phlox is a gorgeous addition to the landscape. Creeping phlox is a reliable perennial for an early pop of color in the Spring, and will grace your garden for many years on.

This phlox is a perfect addition to almost any platform in the garden. It can be used as ground cover, within containers, as a border plant, along fencing… the opportunities are endless. It will remain low to the ground but it will spread quickly year after year. It is low maintenance, and a friend to butterflies and other native insects.

Eye Candy Moss Phlox Care

Eye Candy Moss Phlox is hardy in zones three through eight. This phlox grows quickly and easily in almost any sun exposure. It can be used in well moistened soil, dry soil, or even within a rock garden as it’s flexible with soil preference. This phlox should be supplementally watered if a long, dry period is observed during flowering to maintain bloom vitality.

This perennial phlox can be cut to half the size after blooming. This would be beneficial to encourage reblooming, and dense evergreen foliage.

Eye Candy Moss Phlox Spacing

This moss phlox can grow four to six inches tall. It spreads quickly outward, and should be spread 18 to 20 inches apart.
