The only thing better than springtime azaleas are summer-blooming azaleas. The Floramore® Lavender Azalea reblooms so that you can enjoy the showy flowers throughout the spring and summer. This Rhododendron 'Lazamorav' has lavender flowers with dark pinkish-purple spots on the inner area of the petals. Dark green foliage provides a nice balance to the bright flowers and gives the shrub a full appearance.

Plant several shrubs in a row along a driveway or path. Use the Floramore® Lavender Azalea to border a patio or deck or line a foundation wall. Create a lovely mass planting, or grow this shrub in a container for placement on a balcony or outdoor entertaining area. The Floramore® Lavender Azalea makes an excellent addition to a butterfly garden and supports pollinators. Grow this azalea in zones 7 through 9.

Floramore® Lavender Azalea Care

The Floramore® Lavender Azalea prefers part shade. An area that receives 4 to 6 hours of sunlight is best. The ideal soil will have a high organic content and be slightly acidic. Water young plants regularly for the first year. Established plants prefer damp conditions and struggle in soggy or dry soil. Fertilize annually to promote new growth and support the flowering cycle.

Prune the Floramore® Lavender Azalea after the first flush of blooms. Remove dead or damaged growth at any time. Spread a layer of mulch under the bush in the fall to protect the roots from cold winter temperatures.

Floramore® Lavender Azalea Spacing

The Floramore® Lavender Azalea has a dense form and reaches 3 feet tall and wide. Plant shrubs 3 feet apart, center to center, when creating a consistent planting.
