Flower Carpet Champagne Rose (Rosa Flower Carpet® Champagne) charms gardeners with big, creamy-orange blooms reminiscent of old-world roses, yet it enjoys modern, robust disease resistance. Each fragrant flower stands out against glossy green foliage, delivering romance and cottage style whether in a container or planted en masse. Expect abundant rebloom from early spring right up to frost, giving you months of cut flowers for arrangements or simply brightening your borders. Add in drought tolerance and vigorous growth, and this rose rises to the top for any garden style, from classic to contemporary.
Beyond its captivating color, Flower Carpet Champagne Rose remains surprisingly low-maintenance and adaptable. This groundcover-type shrub rose blends easily into sunny beds, containers, or even informal hedges. Hardy in zones 5-10, it weathers a range of climates, and once established, tolerates brief dry spells without loss of blooms. Thanks to expert breeding, it stands up to foliar diseases and typical rose troubles, making it a trustworthy pick for lasting beauty. Place it in sunny spots, near patios, walkways, or as part of a mixed perennial border for continuous fragrance and cheerful color.
Flower Carpet Champagne Rose Care
Plant this rose where it receives at least six hours of direct sunlight daily for best flowering. Provide well-draining soil enriched with compost or other organic matter, and water deeply when the top layer becomes slightly dry. An application of a balanced, slow-release rose fertilizer in early spring and mid-summer helps maintain steady bloom production. A layer of mulch helps retain soil moisture and regulate temperature, though take care not to mound mulch against the main stem. Avoid overhead watering if possible to keep foliage drier and reduce the chance of fungal issues.
Light pruning of spent blooms throughout the growing season encourages fresh flowers and a neat look. In late winter or early spring, trim back old or damaged canes to about 10-12 inches to promote new growth. Container-grown plants may need slightly more frequent watering and occasional refreshment of the potting mix. If blooming slows, evaluate sunlight exposure, watering practices, and feeding schedule to restore the rose’s robust growth and color.
Flower Carpet Champagne Rose Spacing
Allow about 2 to 3 feet between shrubs when creating a low hedge or row, giving each plant enough room to spread and form a lush groundcover. In mass plantings, the same spacing ensures a unified carpet of blooms with minimal gaps. For container growth, select a pot at least 14 inches in diameter to support healthy root development and steady, season-long flowering.

Plant Addicts Warranty - 1 Year (Extra Purchase Required)
We encourage all plant lovers to purchase the Plant Addicts Warranty, whether you're a new gardener or an expert. There are many variables outside of anyone's control that can cause a plant to die. Hungry animals, drought, poor soil conditions, over watering, diseases & pests are all good examples of what can cause plants to die. The Plant Addicts Warranty is a 1 year warranty protecting you from all of the unknowns and will replace your plant if something were to happen to it.
The warranty is purchased on a per plant basis and must be purchased at the same time as the plant(s). We will cover 100% of the price of the plant, but the warranty does not cover shipping costs. SImply let us know if your plant has died within 1 year of receiving it and we will get you a new one shipped out as soon as possible (depending on the time of the year and availability). We may ask for photos for documentation purposes, but we try to make the process as easy as possible.
