Fragrant Tea Olive, Osmanthus fragrans, is also know as Sweet Osmanthus & Sweet Olive. This Sweet Olive is a moderate growing evergreen tree with glossy, green holly-like leaves. Sweetly fragrant, creamy white flowers appear in the spring. Strong scent attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Plant as a specimen, hedge or screen.

Plant in fertile, moist, acidic, well-drained soil. Water regularly to establish. Moderately drought tolerant once established. Protect from afternoon sun. Fertilize in the spring before new growth in the spring.
