The French Cabaret Red Hibiscus is truly unique in its form. Dark pink to light red blooms are far from the typical hibiscus form, and actually bloom similar to roses or peonies. These will grow nicely upright, and can make a nice cut flower in cooler months. This steady bloomer will make a lovely addition to any border landscape, thriving in the sun. 

This perennial grows upright in nature. It prefers an average amount of water. Once it starts blooming, it doesn’t stop until cold weather kicks in. This hardy hibiscus will come back year after year, providing long stems littered with clustered blooms. 

French Cabaret Red Hibiscus Plant Care

The French Cabaret Red Hibiscus is hardy in zones five through eight. This hardy hibiscus can be planted in full sun, but prefers an average amount of water. This plant should be watered if a drier stretch of weather is observed, to maintain health and vitality. It can be planted in containers, but beware this will make the plant dry out more quickly. 

This hardy hibiscus can be trimmed down once the cold season sets in. It should not be pruned before flowering begins, or during the blooming season as this would prevent flowering.

French Cabaret Red Hibiscus can reach five to eight feet in height. It grows densely upright, and should be spaced four to seven feet apart.
