Bring Graceful, Evergreen Movement to Your Decor
Give railings, doorframes, and mantels a soft, natural sweep with fresh cedar. This 25-foot garland features fine, feathered fronds that drape beautifully and release a clean, woodsy aroma as you style them. The flexible vine-like construction curves around columns and banisters without bulk, creating an elegant, layered look that complements both minimal and fully dressed holiday themes.
Care That Keeps Greens Supple
Hydrate before you hang by soaking the garland in cool water for a few hours, then let excess drip dry. Display in a cool location out of direct sun and away from fireplaces, radiators, and heat vents. Indoors, mist lightly every day or two; outdoors, mist as needed during dry spells. If you add lights, choose cool-touch LEDs to reduce drying. Expect some natural drying and color softening as the season progresses.

FAQs
How long will fresh cedar garland last?
In cool, protected outdoor spots, cedar often looks good for four to six weeks. Indoors, plan on two to four weeks, depending on temperature and humidity. Hydration (a pre-hang soak and periodic misting) extends freshness.
Can I use it indoors and outdoors?
Yes. It’s excellent for both. Outdoors typically lasts longer thanks to cooler air; indoors, keep it away from heat sources and strong sun to slow drying.
Can I cut the 25 ft length into smaller pieces?
Absolutely. Use clean pruners, then wrap the cut ends with floral wire to keep the bundle tidy. Shorter sections are great for sconces, mirrors, and table runners.
What lights should I use?
Choose LED strings labeled indoor/outdoor. They stay cool, which helps preserve needles and reduces drying compared with incandescent sets.
How do I hang it without damaging surfaces?
Use removable adhesive hooks, ribbon ties, or discreet nails placed into trim—not drywall—when possible. Support long spans every 18–24 inches to prevent sagging.
Will it shed or mark surfaces?
A little shedding is normal, especially as greens dry. Give the garland a gentle shake before installing and place a protective runner or felt pads under mantels and along railings to catch needles and prevent sap smudges.
