- 20 Lb Slow-Release Tub
- 6-8-9 Plus Ca & S
- Covers 500 Sq Ft
- Humates & Microbes
Fruit and Berry Fertilizer 6-8-9 by HyR BRIX (20 lb tub) is a one-and-done, slow-release granular feed for berries, vines, and fruit trees. The 6-8-9 analysis is paired with calcium and sulfur, plus micro-nutrients, minerals, and soil builders like humates, microbes, and probiotics to support healthier root zones and more consistent fruiting. The tub is easy to reseal and keep dry between applications. Apply it where feeder roots live—under the canopy edge for trees and along the row for brambles—then water it in so it starts working into the soil.
This 20 pound tub is sized for a home orchard or a few long berry rows. It feeds about 500 square feet and is meant to last the entire growing season with one application. You can apply anytime, but late fall (after plants go dormant) is often used for established plantings to support spring bud break without encouraging late soft growth. For trees, the common guidance is about one cup per inch of trunk diameter, spread across the width of the canopy.

Product Tips
- For berry rows, side-dress in a band along the row, then scratch into the top 1–2 inches where possible.
- Keep it at least 4 inches away from crowns, trunks, and stems, then water thoroughly after applying.
- For fruit trees, spread 1 cup per inch of trunk diameter across the canopy width, not right at the trunk.
- If applying in fall, wait until dormancy to avoid pushing late growth that can be damaged by cold.
- Reseal the tub tightly and store dry to keep the granules flowing and easy to spread.
