The large ornate foliage of the Fun and Games® Capture the Flag Foamy Bells will certainly capture your interest. Displaying large chartreuse leaves with deep red centers and veins, this Heucherella hybrid is perfect for adding some color and interest to your garden. In addition, this heucherella produces elegant white flowers on thin stems that float above the foliage in late spring.

Forming neat mounds of attractive foliage, the Fun and Games® Capture the Flag Foamy Bells is ideal for growing at the front of a border, edging a pathway, or planting in a container. Being a shade lover, it is perfect for brightening up gloomy spots and is suitable for zones 4 to 9. An easy-to-grow perennial that is wonderfully low maintenance.

Fun and Games® Capture the Flag Foamy Bells Care

The Fun and Games® Capture the Flag Foamy Bells performs best when it is grown in full or partial shade. However, it does not tolerate wet or saturated soil, so make sure good drainage is present wherever it is grown. Fertilizer is usually only needed for container-grown specimens. For those grown directly in the ground, a mulch of organic matter in spring will suffice.

Deadheading faded flowers at the base of the stem can encourage new blooms to form. As a semi-evergreen perennial, you only need to remove any spent leaves in the spring.

Fun and Games® Capture the Flag Foamy Bells Spacing

The Fun and Games® Capture the Flag Foamy Bells can grow to 8 to 10 inches high by 16 to 18 inches wide. When grown in a group, space plants 16 to 18 inches apart to allow the plants room to mature.
