Be the talk of your neighborhood with the most gorgeous and fragrant yellow David Austin English rose on the market, Golden Celebration Rose! Deeply cupped, double flowers are a beautifully soft golden yellow that is unmatched by other roses. These full-petalled flowers can reach 5 inches in diameter! Golden Celebration Rose is considered a garden shrub rose and is a repeat bloomer from spring through fall. These roses produce abundant flowers that make excellent cut flowers with dark, glossy foliage.

Golden Celebration Rose offers highly fragrant flowers with sweet rose and fruit aromas. Plants are disease resistant and slightly drought tolerant. If pruned more aggressively, Golden Celebration Rose will develop a more compact, rounded habit versus its natural arching, vase-like shape. Hardy from zone 5 - 11, these plants are an excellent addition to any cottage or English garden and make great borders.

Golden Celebration Rose Care

Golden Celebration Rose prefers full sun to part shade. Plants appreciate fertile soil that is well drained but moist. The soil should be acidic in the pH range of 5.6 - 6.5. Fertilize plants twice a year in the spring and fall with compost or a rose-specific fertilizer.

Plants can be pruned mid-summer to promote a compact habit, or allowed to assume a more natural, arching habit with less pruning. Deadhead Golden Celebration Rose when flowers are spent, and prune old canes to promote new growth. Flowering occurs on new wood.

Golden Celebration Rose Spacing

Golden Celebration Rose can reach 4 - 5 feet in height and width. Allow 3 - 4 feet of spacing between plants.
