The Golden Pacific™ Juniper or Juniperus conferta is a hardy groundcover that provides year-round color. Densely packed needles are a rich green and grow along trailing branches. This salt-tolerant shrub thrives in coastal environments and can handle extreme heat and cold. 

Use the Golden Pacific™ Juniper as a groundcover along uneven ground or an embankment. The evergreen foliage provides a nice contrast against a rock garden. This plant is low maintenance and thrives with minimal care once established. Foragers leave Juniper alone, ensuring this plant will provide continued color and texture. Golden Pacific™ Juniper Care

The Golden Pacific™ Juniper needs full to partial sun to thrive, so choose a spot that receives at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight. Plant it in moist, well-drained soil. Newly planted Juniper plants need water weekly, while established plants only need water during a dry period. Feed the plant in late winter or early spring using a balanced fertilizer.

Juniper has a nice natural form, and this evergreen does not typically require much pruning, although the plant can be shaped as necessary to fit a space.
