This perennial aster will perk up your early autumn garden with its dark purple flowers rising above dark green foliage. It will bring new life and color into your fading fall garden. This medium-height plant will thrive in full sun conditions in USDA plant hardiness zones 3 through 8. It has a 40 to 44-inch spread and a height of 30 to 44 inches at maturity.
