The Halo Violet is a heat tolerant plant that will give you long lasting color in your garden. This plant produces intense violet blooms with yellow centers. It has a sweet scent that attracts butterflies and remains unbothered by deer. The Halo Violet is an easy to care for variety that you will love all season long.

Bright green foliage is paired with violet blooms which have yellow centers. A truly stunning pair. It has a bloom season that begins in early spring and will last until fall. The Halo Violet grows to be eight to ten inches tall with a spread of six to twelve inches. This plant is good for container planting, ground cover, mass planting, border planting, or as a focal point in your landscapes and gardens.

Halo Violet Care

Plant in full sun to part shade for best results. The Halo Violet needs four to six hours of sun each day for best results. Grow in well drained, moist soil that is organically enriched. Mulch at the base to help retain moisture. When new growth begins in the spring fertilize with a slow release fertilizer. Shearing in the summer will help keep the Halo Violet lively. Water needs are average. During times of extreme heat water more regularly.

Halo Violet Spacing

When planting be sure to space properly. Spacing for the Halo Violet is twelve to fourteen inches, center on center. Container size should be three to five gallons.
