Hopley's Abelia is a perennial shrub with gorgeous flowers and equally stunning foliage. Also known as Abelia x grandiflora 'Hopleys’, dark pink buds open to reveal light-pink, almost white, trumpet-shaped flowers. Flowers bloom from midsummer into fall. The variegated oval-shaped foliage has bright green centers with golden-yellow along the edges during the spring. The margins transition to ivory by summer, and the leaves turn pink by fall.

Create a flowering hedge or foundation planting with this Abelia, add it to a mixed planting, or feature this beauty as a specimen. Hopley's Abelia makes a beautiful container plant to dress up a patio or outdoor space. This low-maintenance shrub is often left alone by deer and is generally pest and disease resistant.
