The Hot Pink EnduraScape™ Verbena makes a showy addition to an outdoor space, either on its own or in a mixed planting. This Verbena 'Balendopin' features hot pink star-shaped flowers with a white eye that provides bold contrast. The showy flowers bloom in clusters starting in late spring. Flowers continue to rebloom through fall. The lovely flowers are complemented by narrow leaves that provide dependable greenery throughout the growing season.

A well-branching structure gives the Hot Pink EnduraScape™ Verbena a dense appearance, making it an asset in a mass planting, bed, border, or container, including hanging baskets. Disease-resistant foliage stands up to powdery mildew, making this Verbena a good pick in areas with hot, humid weather. Deer often leave the Hot Pink EnduraScape™ Verbena alone, so it works well in areas with significant deer populations.

Hot Pink EnduraScape™ Verbena Care

Plant Hot Pink EnduraScape™ Verbena in full sun and in moist, well-drained soil for best performance. This plant is not particular about soil quality or pH, but fertile soil with a high organic content will promote growth. Allow the soil to dry between watering, and give this plant extra water during an extended dry period. Use a slow-release fertilizer in the spring or a balanced fertilizer monthly to help the plant thrive and bloom.

Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms. Trim leggy stems by one-third around midsummer to rejuvenate growth and promote more branching and flowers. Remove all growth after the first heavy frost.

Hot Pink EnduraScape™ Verbena Spacing

Hot Pink EnduraScape™ Verbena stands 12 inches tall and spreads 24 inches wide. Space plants 18 - 22 inches to create a full and dense bed. One plant can comfortably live in a 12-inch wide container.
