Many shrubs blossom for only a few weeks, but not Infinitini Watermelon Crape Myrtle. It’ll be covered with bright watermelon pink blooms all summer long without deadheading. This deciduous plant is also moderately salt-tolerant for those of you who garden near the ocean or a heavily winter salted road.

Not only is Lagerstroemia indica 'G2X133181' attractive in the summer, its leaves turn brilliant shades of yellow, orange and red in the fall. It’s great for the environment because it attracts butterflies and bees. It’s also deer resistant. This plant can survive the weather in zones 6 to 10. At maturity, Infinitini Watermelon Crape Myrtle will reach between 2 and 4 feet tall and wide.

Infinitini Watermelon Crape Myrtle Care

This deer-resistant deciduous plant grows best in full sun conditions. Infinitini Watermelon Crape Myrtle can also be grown in a sturdy container on your sunny patio or deck. Fertilize in late spring for maximum flower production.

Pruning Infinitini Watermelon Crape Myrtle should only be performed in late winter or early spring because this plant flowers on new growth. This plant may die back to the ground in colder climates but will regrow in the spring.

Infinitini Watermelon Crape Myrtle Spacing

This plant can be used as a border plant, cut flowers, an accent plant or in a mass planting. Infinitini Watermelon Crape Myrtle is a great choice to add color and definition along paths, walkways and borders. Space plants 3 to 5 feet apart on center to avoid crowding and maximize airflow.
