The Jubilation Gardenia, Gardenia jasminoides ‘Leone’, is a compact, moderate to fast growing evergreen shrub with fragrant white blooms from late spring to fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Jubilation works well in containers, as a specimen, as an informal hedge or in the shrub border.

Gardenia ‘Jubilation’ Care

Plant in well-drained soil. Water weekly and more often during periods of drought and heat. Pruning not generally necessary but can be done after initial flush of blooms in the spring. Fertilize in early spring with an acid fertilizer.

Gardenia ‘Jubilation’ Spacing

For an informal hedge, plant Jubilation 3’ apart as measured from the center of each plant. For mass planting or in the shrub border, plant 5’-6’ apart.

I ordered a Gardenia plant for my mother for Mother's Day and when she received her plant the gardenias were dead. The plant was fairly expensive and I was truly disappointed in the product. My mom was super upset.

Hi there...I reserved my mother a gardenia plant. When it arrived, she called to thank me and said all the blooms were dead. Was disappointed for sure, just didn’t take the time to call and complain.

    plant review

I'm very happy with my plant that came in the mail. It was clearly marked what size, so I wasn't surprised by the size at all. I was surprised by how well the plant was packaged. There was so much cardboard and plastic around the pot to prevent dirt from getting everywhere. packaged arrived after about a week, and I was able to track it on the fedex website easily. I got this planted in the ground right away and it flourished after that. I'll definitely be ordering from plantaddicts again. I love supporting small businesses and there are so many beautiful plants on the site that they offer.

    mad customer

I bought 1 of these even though I've never heard of this company before. I was ripped off! The plants were tiny and didn't have any flowers on them. I didn't even both planting them into the ground. Not happy that they wouldn't give me a refund. Total ripoff, buyer beware!
